Likewise, in 2016 he was hired by Denver Nuggets as Associate Head Coach, and on June 8, 2017, again as Associate head coach with Alvin Gentry. The Minnesota Timberwolves, on February 22, 2021, named him as the team’s head coach and on April 11, 2022, he gained a multi-year extension.
