Cox, who’s a mom to Coco, 19, from her previous marriage to David Arquette, has opened up about her reconciliation with McDaid. She’s spoken about how it’s given their relationship a new lease of life. “He’s not my fiancé. We were on the path to marriage, but now, we’re just…together,” she revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show back in 2019.
Their engagement was called off and McDaid moved to England. But then, they found their way back to each other. And guess what? It’s even better than before.
Cox added, “The six months of distance after our split taught us a lot. It’s just…better now.” They’ve continued to celebrate their love story.
The star of Scream celebrated a decade of being with McDaid, who’s 47, last September. She posted a montage of their moments together over the years. There was even a surprise appearance from Ed Sheeran, who played cupid for them in 2013.
She couldn’t help but express her joy in the caption, “10 years!!!”
