Avril Campbell, a Scotswoman, and Booth Danesh, an Iranian, were his parents; they reside in Bearsden. Campbell Danesh was born in Glasgow on August 19, 1980. His younger brothers are Aria (born 1983) and Cyrus, the middle of three boys (born 1995).

Who is Darius Campbell?
A non-singing role in The Trojans, an avant-garde production of the Scottish Opera, launched Campbell Danesh’s professional career in the 1990s. Then, as a young man, he appeared in a Carmen staging at Covent Garden Royal Opera House with the Scottish Opera.
After participating in the 2001 season of the British talent show Popstars, Campbell Danesh first rose to prominence.
