Don Lemon and Tim Malone, his spouse, are basking in the glow of newlywed life. They tied the knot in New York on April 6. But they’re not just living in the moment. They’re also looking ahead, with expansion plans for their family.
“We’re planning a family,” Don revealed to E! News at the 2024 TIME100 Gala. He didn’t give a timeline, though. He added, “We’ve already got three fur babies, and we’ve only been hitched for three weeks. But yeah, we’re cooking up something. We’ll keep you posted.”
Don, who’s 58, joked about his husband’s role in their family expansion. “He’s gonna have to do it, ’cause his body will bounce back,” he said. It’s a bit of a laugh, but it adds a touch of unpredictability to their plans.
The couple’s journey to the altar began in 2019 when they got engaged. They finally said their vows five years later at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. The wedding was a sight to behold, with both grooms looking dapper in matching tuxes with velvet jackets. Don opted for a dark green color, while Tim went for navy.
And let’s not forget their three dogs – Barkley, Boomer, and Gus. These fur babies were part of the big day, as seen in photos. The couple was seen holding their pups while descending the church’s front steps. It was a heartwarming sight, adding a touch of charm to their special day.
