Drakkar Klose is an American mixed martial artist. He is currently signed to the UFC where he competes in the Lightweight division. He previously competed in promotions Ressurection Fighting Alliance and World Fighting Federation and is a one-time RITC Lightweight Champion. As of July 2022, he has compiled a record of 7-2 in the UFC.

Drakkar Klose was born on 9 March 1988. His full name is Drakkar Don Klose. He was born in South Haven, Michigan in the United States and holds American nationality. He has six siblings. He belongs to a mixed ethnicity and his religion is Christianity. Information about his parents is not known. 

Regarding his educational background, he attended South Haven High School. He competed in wrestling and represented South Haven in the state-level tournaments. He won the state championship in 2005. After high school, he attended North Idaho College where he continued wrestling. He then transferred to Lindenwood University for his junior year. However, he was kicked out of college.

• Drakkar Klose was an athletic student since his school days. He was a standout wrestler in high school. After being kicked out of college, he moved to Arizona to pursue MMA. After beginning his amateur career, he compiled 7-0 amateur record. He then compiled a record of 7-0-1 in Resurrection Fighting Alliance and World Fighting Federation. He signed with the UFC in 2016. 
• He made his UFC promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 103 against fellow newcomer Devin Powell in January 2017. He won his debut fight via unanimous decision. He defeated Marc Diakiese via split decision at The Ultimate Fighter 25 in July 2017. He suffered his first UFC loss against David Teymur at UFC 218 in December 2017. 
• He then defeated Lando Vannata and Bobby Green via unanimous decisions at UFC 226 and UFC on Fox 31 respectively. His fight against Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night 155 in July 2019 was canceled after Dariush pulled out with an injury. He defeated Christos Giagos at UFC 241 via unanimous decision in August 2019. His bout against Dariush, canceled in July 2019 took place at UFC 248 in March 2020. Klose lost the fight via knockout in the second round. 
• Klose was scheduled to face Jai Herbert at UFC Fight Night 185 in February 2021. However, Herbert pulled out of the fight and was replaced by Luis Pena. The fight was once again canceled after Klose tested positive for COVID-19. He was scheduled to face Jeremy Stephens at UFC on ESPN 22 in April 2021. However, the bout was scrapped on the day of the event after Klose sustained a spinal injury as a result of being shoved by his opponent Stephens at the weigh-ins. He received his show money and compliance pay despite the fight being canceled. 
• Klose remained out of the fight for two years. He returned to the octagon to face Nikolas Motta at UFC on ESPN 34 in April 2022. Motta was removed from the fight for an undisclosed reason and was replaced by Brandon Jenkins. Klose won the fight via technical knockout earning the Performance of the Night honors. 
• He was scheduled to face Carlos Diego Ferreira at UFC 277 in July 2022. However, Ferreira pulled out of the bout due to injury. Rafa Garcia replaced Ferreira whom Klose defeated via unanimous decision.
