Dylan McCarthy Death Case Update: Recently, two men were detained by officers during the investigation of an incident in Monasterevin. As of now, they are charged with murder. So, what happened?
There was a death case in late 2022 which took over the Internet by storm. The victim who lost his life in that incident was Dylan McCarthy.
Dylan was only 29 years old. He died in a street fight which was initiated by a heated argument.
The late victim had some words with the group of assailants in a pub, and following that, he and his dad, Eamon McCarthy, were attacked by that group.
Dylan was heavily injured and was rushed to the nearby hospital as soon as possible. The same goes for his father, who also had severe injuries.
The injured duo was taken to Tallaght University Hospital in Dublin. Unfortunately, Dylan couldn’t make it and took his last breath in the hospital bed on August 22, 2022.
After that tragedy, the police did everything in their power to capture Dylan’s murderers. Moreover, five men were taken under custody after the killing, and recently two more were charged with the killing.

Dylan McCarthy Death: Calvin Dunne And Sean Kavanagh Arrested
The two men’s names who got arrested in Dylan McCarthy’s death case are made public. Furthermore, their current addresses are revealed.
More on the murderer, their name is Calvin Dunne and Sean Kavanagh. Both Dunne and Kavanagh are in their mid-twenties.
Previously, all those five suspects who were arrested were also in their twenties.
Specifically speaking, Dunne is 23 years old, and Kavanagh is 24 years old. According to Irish Mirror, both reside in Monasterevin, where the killing occurred.
Dunne’s location is announced to be Abbey View, Monasterevin; similarly, Kavanagh’s address is said to be St Mary’s Lane in Monasterevin.
Moreover, the outlet also mentioned that Dunne and Kavanagh were charged with something other than Dylan’s murder. To put it simply, they were charged with violent disorder.
According to Kildare Live, Det Gda Orla Higgins was the one who gave the evidence to catch one of those two assailants, i.e., Sean Kavanagh.
Similarly, the site also mentioned that Det Gda Seamus Doyle announced the arrest of Calvin Dunne.
To sum it up, police are still working on the Dylan McCarthy case. The two caught murderers were placed in front of the judge and are now charged with the murder.
Moreover, one of the assailants, Kavanagh, is also charged with assault against the late McCarthy’s dad, Eamon McCarthy.

Regarding McCarthy’s family, the assault victim is survived by his father, mother, and sister. In addition, he also had a lovely partner.
Talking about McCarthy’s parents, we already know he has a dad named Eamon McCarthy, who was with him during the attack and was heavily injured. Luckily, he survived the mishap and now cries for his loss.
