Ellen Kershaw

Ellen Kershaw is an American philanthropist and co-author. Moreover, Ellen Kershaw is better known as the wife of Clayton Kershaw. In addition, Clayton is an American baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Early life

Ellen Kershaw Melson a.k.a Ellen Kershaw was born on 9th November 1987, in Texas, the United States of America. As of now, she is 34 years old and he is a citizen of the United States. Moreover, she has a zodiac sign of Scorpio, and her ethnicity is unknown. She grew up in Dallas. Apart from that, there is no information about her parents or siblings. The purpose of this annual charity ping pong competition is to collect funds for a variety of humanitarian organizations. She and her husband co-authored a book named is ‘Arise: Live Out Your Faith and Dreama on Whatever Field You Find Yourself.’

Clayton Kershaw

He began playing for the Gulf Coast League (GCL)  where he kept the records as one of the best prospects of the GCL. Additionally, he was promoted to the Great Lakes Loons the following year. He appeared in both the Midwest League All-Star Game and the All-Star Futures Game that year. Only a few months later, he was promoted to the Southern League’s Double-A Jacksonville Suns. His outstanding performance there pushed him to one of the Dodgers’ top prospects.

He made his Dodgers debut in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals in May 2008. The talented player was reportedly the MLB’s youngest player, a position he held until 2009. In 2009, he began the season by playing in the National League Division Series against the St. Louis Cardinals (NLDS). His success earned him a spot as the Opening Day starter for the 2011 season towards the end of the 2010 season. For a player his age, this is a huge accomplishment.

He won several trophies and honors in 2011, including the 2011 Players Choice Award for ‘Most Outstanding National League Pitcher.’ Moreover, he also became the first Dodger pitcher to win the National League’s pitching Triple Crown since Sandy Koufax in 1966. In addition, he won the Warren Spahn Award for Best Left-Handed Pitcher for the fourth time in 2017. He was also named for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game that year. It would be the Dodgers’ sixth consecutive winning season since 2011, and their second-best record in club history.

Ellen Kershaw has not won any award nor got honors to this day. On the other sides, her husband has won some of them. In 2011, 2013, and 2014, he won the National League Cy Young Award. Moreover, he won the National League Most Valuable Player Award in 2014.
