Francia Raisa, star of “How I Met Your Father,” has revealed that she has “zero clue” who the titular father is on the show. The Hulu reboot, led by Hilary Duff, centers around trying to figure out who Sophie’s (Duff) son’s father is, much like the beloved CBS sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.” The second installment of season two is set to return on May 23, and Raisa promises there are “so many more fun guests” on the way.
Raisa has not met Neil Patrick Harris, who reprised his role as Barney Stinson in the midseason finale of “HIMYF,” but she has met Kim Cattrall and Cobie Smulders. She says she hopes to run into other cast members at some point in life, stating that it was the “best feeling in the world” going up to Cobie and introducing herself as a fellow cast member.
In an interview in POPSUGAR’s Last Call column, Raisa revealed that she and the cast remain hopeful that the show will be renewed for a third season. She also shared insights on her last day of filming season two, her most recent off-set hangouts with costars, her last TV show binge-watched, her last book, and even her last gift received.
Raisa shares that her mental health is a priority and that she’s taking care of herself with meditation and yoga. She bought a house in the mountains of Colorado where she can find peace.
She also shared a piece of advice that stuck with her from her friend Cathy Kelley, “You don’t give to receive, but if you want to receive, that’s called manipulation.” Raisa said it changed her life mentally and emotionally and helped her understand things differently.
Finally, Raisa shares that the last gift she received was a cutting board with the name of her new house, which she just named.
