Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has taken to Instagram to celebrate her son Moses’s 17th birthday. On April 8, the Iron Man actor posted a rare photograph of herself and Moses, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay. In the photograph, Paltrow has her arm around her son, who appears to be taking the picture. The Goop founder’s caption reads, “Happy 17th birthday to the boy that fills my soul up every time I look at him. You are the most exceptional, kind, loving human being. You keep us all laughing with your perfect impressions and you inspire us with your harmonies. I deeply adore you more than you could ever imagine! Love, mama.”
Paltrow’s Instagram post also acknowledges that as her children, Moses and his older sister Apple, 19 in May, grow older, they appear less frequently on their mother’s social media channels. Nevertheless, Paltrow always takes the time to express how much she adores being their mother on their birthdays. Last year, she posted a snapshot of Moses surrounded by balloons, along with a heartfelt message.
In an interview with E! News in October 2022, Paltrow revealed how she and Moses spend time together now that he’s older. Although Moses isn’t as interested in wellness as his mother is, the pair enjoys long walks together. “Moses will take walks with me, so that’s great, and he likes to skateboard too, so often times, we’ll walk and he’ll skate next to me and that’s fun,” she shared.
