Dave Fisher died unexpectedly of 71. His death was announced by his relatives, as per the family, he died after suffering a stroke.

Legendary radio personality Ken Connors stated that once he was revealed as Fisher’s successor in 2016, he was “honoured and gratified,” and his abrupt death was a “devastating blow” to the community.

“Dave was a radio legend who is still alive and well in the city. For so many years on CJAD, he presented Saturday and Sunday mornings — the weekend show — and of course, the quiz show, and he was simply a welcome presence in so many homes and so many lives for decades, really “Connors stated during an interview expressing his grief.

Fisher, a prominent presence on airwaves for decades, easily linked with the listener during his appearances in a very manner that you thought him feel right at home, according to Connors.

“He was just so good at what he did and a fantastic broadcaster – one of the city’s giants, truly.”

After anchoring the station’s weekly Knowledge Program, a feature of the network continues on the radio and is one of the market’s greatest programmes. There is no authentic available about his education and personal life.
