The death news of Dr. Ajay Parida is making rounds on the internet. Netizens are eagerly searching for him. He was a Padma Shri recipient, perished of a sudden heart attack when he was traveling in Assam. He was found dead in his hotel room.  He was a renowned scientist and a chief of the Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) in Bhubaneswar. His death news has been confirmed by the prestigious institute itself.  There is much speculation regarding his death. 

As per the sources, He is 58 years old and suffered from a major heart attack. He had been to Guwahati for a convention where he died in a hotel room.

“Deeply heartbroken to read about the passing away of Padma Shri awardee scientist and Director of Institute of Life Science (ILS), Bhubaneswar Ajay Parida,” Patnaik tweeted. Om Shanti, my thoughts and prayers are with the deceased family members and friends during this difficult time.”

Dr. Parida’s death praised his efforts to the community during the pandemic. Under the guidance of Dr. Parida, the ILS performed genetic testing to identify Covid variations, which are required for effective treatments. He was from a small village in Odisha.

Hence the Odisha Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and other politicians paid tribute to him.
