How did Howard Miskelly Die? What happened to Howard Miskelly?

Howard Miskelly, an entrepreneur, and social figure passed away.

Howard Miskelly, an Okolona entrepreneur, passed on 16 July after living a long life.

According to his eulogy, he came to the town with his wife in 1952. he hoped to have a better life here, and he started working hard to achieve his dreams.

“His life’s passion was influencing, encouraging, and assisting people in any way he could,” Chip added. “That was his legacy, which he left for us to carry on.”

Miskelly was nominated to the Department Of veterans affairs Board and joined the board throughout his life.

Miskelly frequently stated that his crowning accomplishment had kids devout in their Christian faith and established a store in Okolona that encouraged his kids to read Miskelly Furniture.

He showed an initial flair for achievement. As class president, he chose the logo and school decorations.

He was recruited into World War II in 1943. He fought with the 102nd Regiment.  Miskelly was promoted to Staff Sergeant and received two Bronze Stars.

After Miskelly relocated to Delta, he enrolled at Mississippi State University.

Miskelly certainly left an imprint on the state. He was a member of the Veterans Administration Board, the Mississippi School for the Deaf and Blind, and the Mississippi Retail Association.

Miskelly was a respected member of his community, and a visitation will be conducted at A first Christian Church in Okolona, Mississippi, on Monday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

A memorial service for Howard will be conducted at First Baptist West Point on Tuesday at 11 a.m. after that, ordinary people are allowed for a  visitation preceding the burial.
