Antonio Rudiger, a defender for Real Madrid, was Saif Rubie’s most recent client.
A report from Daily Mail shows, Rubie facilitated Rudiger’s free transfer to the UCL champions. As a go-between for Chelsea and Rudiger’s entourage, he helped the German defender secure a £ 10 million signing-on fee.
Along with Antonio Rudiger, the sports agent has worked with Chelsea FC on player recruitment strategy for a number of years. Additionally, he assisted midfielder Lucas Paqueta in this summer’s move to West Ham United FC.
Kolo Toure, Felipe Caicedo, Manchester City, Altitude Mask, Snappy Gilmour, Piaget, Transform Altitude, 10AK, Dubai Globesoccer, Ghana Football Association, and numerous others are just a few of his other well-known clients.
In 2019, Rubie worked on the exit of Liverpool prospect, Bobby Duncan, which somewhat ended in a controversial way after Duncan accuses Saif of jeopardizing his career. While the sports agent has discussed his role in his career of Duncan on talkSPORT.
On Monday, Rubie asked Simon Gordon on the radio: “Can I tell you something in that specific case?”
“I actually suggested that he stay at Liverpool,” I said. “You have to understand one thing, which is what I was trying to say to you guys: My job is to do the best for whoever is telling me to help them, whether it be the player, a buying club, or a selling club.”
You can choose to believe me or not, but I thought that him staying was the best result in that particular case, he continued. Unfortunately, things ended up getting a little ugly with Liverpool because it wasn’t meant to be.
