Kaya Rose Scodelario was brought into this world by her parents, Katia Scodelario and Roger Humphrey, in the town of Haywards Heath, in the county of Sussex in England.
Her mother is Brazilian and is of Italian and Portuguese origin, while her father was born in the United Kingdom. Her Italian great-grandfather was the source of her surname, which she inherited from her mother.
She made her debut on television in 2007 with the British drama “Skins,” in which she portrayed the role of Effy Stonem, a young woman who enjoys parties. She had never performed in front of an audience before the audition. However, one of the show’s producers urged her to go to the audition, and she was cast in part.
Her first performance in a major film was in “Moon,” which starred Sam Rockwell as an astronaut who had a series of strange experiences when he was stationed on the moon. She played a supporting character.
Kaya Scodelario is an interesting person to keep an eye on because she is making a name for herself in both the film industry & on television, thanks to the popularity of the series she stars in.
