Ballard is also a co-founder of TreeHouse, a non-profit organization that provides shelter and support services to homeless youth. He is a GLG Social Impact Fellow and studied conservation biology at Texas A&M University. He is currently enrolled in a master’s program in Space Resources at Colorado School of Mines.
