Joan Collins’ marriage is her dynasty’s cornerstone. The Dynasty star let us in on her 22-year marriage secret to Percy Gibson. “Our love is deep,” the nonagenarian confessed to E! News’ Carolina Bermudez. This was during an exclusive interview set to air on Jan. 29.
“We adore each other, not just as a married couple or lovers. We genuinely like each other,” she added. The age difference of 32 years between Joan and Percy doesn’t seem to matter. Joan, who’s had four previous marriages to Maxwell Reed, Anthony Newley, Ron Kass, and Peter Holm, knows this one’s different.
She’s sure this marriage has been her most successful. “We took our time to really know each other before making a commitment,” she explained. Percy, who she met in 2000 during a play he produced, got to know her well. “We delved deep into each other’s lives in the right way,” she added.
In a lighter tone, she admitted this was something she “hadn’t done with any of the other four.”
