The Hills star Stacie Hall AKA “Stacie The Bartender” married her husband Joel Adams on 7 September 2013. The reality star hasn’t catered much detail about their relationship. Shay responded in the affirmative when the Selling Sunset actor enquired as to whether their interaction was “sexual.”
“But then there was like me and another her. Everyone always had attention,” she said before admitting that she was “jealous” of Adams because Mayer “liked her” more by the end of their alleged romance. “I was like, ‘Wait, I brought you into this and now you’re getting more attention than I’m getting. And even after he and I stopped talking, they continued talking.”
“[Stacie and I] had a year of an awkward friendship falling out, but then came full circle a year later,” Shay said. “It was just a big jealously thing. She was getting everything I wanted and was, like, working for and she just got it handed to her. … She was just bartending at The Dime and they were just filming The Hills.”
But the two ladies rekindled their friendship, with Shay appearing on The Hills and Adams being a bridesmaid in the “Good As Gold” singer’s 2014 nuptials to Mike Shay.

The current job of Joel Adams is unclear how he appears to be a triathlon athlete. But, back in college when he was attending Colorado University he was a safety for Colorado Buffaloes. He was initially enrolled in college as a CU’s skiing team in 2005. He lettered twice in skiing as a freshman and sophomore (2005, 2006) before deciding to solely concentrate on football collegiately.
Joel was a member of CU’s national championship team as a sophomore in 2006. He had four top 20 finishes that winter, with a best of 11th in the giant slalom in the Alaska Invitational (which was held at Park City, Utah); his top slalom finish was 17th in Western State’s invite. He was ranked 24th in the giant slalom and 26th in the slalom in the west but did not qualify to ski at the NCAA meet. In 2005, he was the lone member of the CU men’s alpine team to qualify for the NCAA’s, finishing 19th in the slalom and 22nd in the giant slalom.
Joel had three top 10 finishes in 12 races on the year, all in the GS, with his best a fifth-place effort at the New Mexico Invitational, followed by a seventh-place showing in the Utah Invitational and 10th place in the Alaska meet; his best effort in the slalom was 12th in Utah. He skied for the Steamboat Springs Ski Club for 10 years, four of those on Team Colorado, and also spent one-year skiing in Park City. In 2001 he won the International Whistler Cup at 15 years old (the best 15-and-under skiers in the world) and qualified for the U.S. Development Team, but declined the opportunity because he wanted to continue playing prep football.
As a football player, Joel participated in nine games in sophomore year, finished third on the team with 16 special team points in Jr. year, and played all 12 games on special teams. The coaches selected him as the recipient of the Special Teams Scout Award.
Joel graduated from the university in 2008 with a degree in International Affairs at Colorado, as he followed in his father’s footsteps and studied international business.
Fun Fact: Joel’s hobbies include playing golf and spending time outdoors. He never considered any other college than CU, his childhood favorite from the beginning. Though his collegiate skiing days are over, he has aspirations of participating in the sport in the X-Games someday.
