TikToker Katie Mills responded to a recent TikTok video from former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa where she discussed “love bombing” and “clout chasing” in romantic relationships. The 20-year-old, who was romantically linked to Siwa in late 2021, took to TikTok to address the video, stating that Siwa had “used” her for her platform and accused her of ghosting her the next day. Mills also claims that Siwa was the one who wanted to take the relationship public and had always asked for permission before posting anything about her on social media.
In her video, Mills also referenced Siwa’s drama with her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus, who faced backlash from Siwa’s fans following their split in December. Mills accused Siwa of attempting to stir up drama with her exes, saying “You sent me and Avery through hell for months and gave us no explanation why.” She later pleads with Siwa to leave them alone as there has already been enough damage.
This isn’t the first time one of Siwa’s exes has spoken out to defend themselves on the internet. After Siwa made a video in December about being “used for views and clout” in a past relationship, Cyrus refuted online speculation that she was the intended subject of the cryptic clip. She expressed that she and Siwa left on good terms and are still friends, adding that the relationship was very real, and she has nothing but love for Siwa and her family.
As of now, Siwa has not responded to Mills’ claims. E! News reached out to Siwa’s rep for comment but has not received a response.
