Julia Stiles Secretly Welcomes Third Baby with Husband Preston Cook

Julia Stiles, the star of “10 Things I Hate About You,” is a mom for the third time. She and her husband, Preston Cook, recently welcomed their newest addition in private.

In an interview with The New York Times, Julia shared her feelings. “I’m kind of like a bundle of emotions,” she admitted. This is due to her juggling a 5-month-old baby and directing her first movie.

Julia’s directorial debut is a film adaptation of Renée Carlino’s novel “Wish You Were Here.” Filming wrapped up in February. However, Julia and Preston have been tight-lipped about their baby’s details, including name and sex.

Interestingly, they haven’t shared the news on their social media accounts. Julia told the Times, “I didn’t really talk about it.” It seems they prefer to keep their family life low-key.

At 43, Julia finds motherhood a perfect practice for directing. She and Preston also have Strummer, 6, and Arlo, 2. She explained the parallels between the two roles.

“You have to think ten steps ahead but also be in the present moment,” she said. It’s all about good time management, sensitivity to people’s needs, and setting boundaries.
