Kazuki Takahashi was found dead on Wednesday, 6th July 2022 around 300 meters far away from the Nago shore, near the Awa Coast in Okinawa.
His body was discovered by a boat rider after which the Japanese Coast Guard officers recovered the body. The body was found floating in the water with his snorkeling gear on his body.
Initial assessment of the dead body revealed that he must have died around one to two days back his body was found. Later, it was revealed that he was actually attacked by a reef shark when he was snorkeling as several injuries have been found on his belly and lower body.
