Kelly Ripa’s got her eyes on the prize. She’s aiming for gold on that red carpet, folks.
She’s co-hosting LIVE with Kelly and Mark, and she’s turning the 2024 Oscars into a date night. Who’s the lucky guy? None other than her hubby, Mark Consuelos. The venue? The Dolby Theatre in LA, on the 10th of March.
Now, let’s talk fashion. Kelly’s rocking a semi-sheer black gown by Jason Wu. It’s got a cinched waist, giving off some serious lingerie vibes. And the icing on the cake? A strand of diamonds around her neck. (Check out all the Academy Award winners here, by the way.)
On the other hand, Mark’s keeping it classic. He’s decked out in a black tuxedo and bowtie. At one point, he even steps aside to admire Kelly’s outfit. Talk about a supportive partner!
After the ceremony, which will be aired on ABC, the couple has plans. They’ve got three kids – Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21. And they’re all set to host their annual “After the Oscars” special.
Kelly shared a little secret with Variety. “When you interview people after they just received the greatest achievement of their career,” she said, “they say things they wouldn’t usually say.” And the funniest part? “If you bump into the celebrity a few months later, they have no memory of ever having seen us backstage!”
