Her theatrical play roles have included Anna Karenina and Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Gate Theatre, Oonagh in Jimmy’s Hall, Lil – written especially for her- in The Country Girls by Edna O’Brien, and Patsy in The Unmanageable Sisters at the Abbey Theatre; Sorcha in Ross O’Carroll-Kelly’s The Last Days of the Celtic Tiger, Breaking Dad, Between Foxrock and a Hard Place at the Gaiety Theatre and Nora in A Doll’s House at the Helix Theatre.
Moreover, she received critical acclaim for her performance as ‘Fairy’ in Hex at the National Theatre in London from late 2022 to early 2023. She portrayed the role of Elizabeth O’Farrell in The Bloody Irish, written for PBS in 2015.
Musical Works
She has performed as a featured soloist with Ireland’s RTE Concert Orchestra and as a soloist on the popular Irish TV show The Late Late Show, which led to collaborations with RTE-affiliated musicians Shay Healy and Frank McNamara. From 2010 to 2014, she was a member of Celtic Woman. During her time with the group, she appeared on the albums: Believe, Home For Christmas, and Emerald: Musical Gems.
Additionally, she also appeared on various compilation albums issued following her departure. “Hiding Away,” her debut solo album, was recorded in Nashville and released in 2015. The album’s hit “Heaven” included some of the members of ALONE Ireland, a charity with whom Lambe is involved.

It was composed in Connemara and recorded in Donegal, Ireland, with producer Karl Odlum, and has been called “a love letter to nature.” “Wild Red,” her third solo album, was released in November 2021. Moreover, her latest album was chosen as the album of the week by BBC Radio and was included in Goldmine USA Magazine’s Top 100 Songs of 2021.
