In an interview with People magazine, Lynda opened up about her addiction to alcohol which was devastated her life like an illness.
She went to a rehabilitation center to recover from alcoholism. She became sober after the treatment and has recovered from the addiction.
It became difficult for the model after losing her father, Colby Carter, and her husband, Robert Alan Altman.
Altman was a lawyer and a business executive from Washington D.C. He was admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with myelofibrosis which took his life. He died on February 3, 2021, at the age of 73.
Lynda and Robert share two children named James and Jessica.
