On February 3, 2023, after a weeklong trial, Mark Andeson was sentenced for the murder of his wife, Tierney Nicole Anderson, in their home in northwest Harris County.
As per ABC, Mark Anderson is a Huston-based man convicted for killing his wife, Tierney Nicole Anderson.
Tierney Nicole Anderson was killed on August 4, 2019, at age 34, leaving to mourn family and friends.
Records show the culprit shoot himself to fake the crime scene.
According to District Attorney Kim Ogg, The culprit shot his wife, Nicole, in the chest with a .40-caliber pistol.
Later, he shot himself, creating a scenario to distract Police that his wife shot him while they were arguing and that he was acting in self-defense.
After killing his wife, Mark called Police and rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and abdomen.
During the investigation at the hospital, the culprit confessed to Houston Police Department officers that he shot himself.
During a walk-through at the crime scene, Mark changed his story about the shooting two weeks later, made up a new story around the physical violence and gathered evidence.
Is Mark Anderson In Jail?
After allegedly convicted of murder for killing his wife, Harris County District Attorney’s Office revealed the culprit was sentenced to 38 years in prison.
District Attorney Kim Ogg revealed Mark was found guilty of the homicide of the woman he had sworn to love and cherish and to fake a crime scene to accuse Tierney as the main culprit.
He further added the investigation authorities cherished jurors who deduced a ploy to escape accountability for the charges and decided to put the culprit behind bars for decades.
Investigation shows Mark abused her for ten years and even threatened to shoot her in the head, and after three months, he killed her.
Mark’s first story to Police was that he shot himself, which you have to believe because he wanted to cover up the crime scene.

What Are The Charges Faced By Mark Anderson?
Assistant District Attorney Anthony Osso revealed that the jury could see that Anderson worked to thwart justice after killing his wife.

In addition, second-degree guilty shall be imprisoned for years or life.
As per the particular maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, under this title or imprisoned, a person found guilty of voluntary manslaughter shall be fined for not more than 15 years or both.
