Per his family and friends, his funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Taylor & Forgie Adelaide Road Chapel, 98 Adelaide Road, Gawler South.

The professional rugby player joined the Sydney Convicts club in 2012, almost ten years ago. While he was a member of the Sydney Convicts club, he participated in two Bingham Cups. Likewise, in 2012, he won the Bingham Bowl in Manchester.

The rugby player proudly represented Yawarawarrka and Western Arrernte. He ran hard while playing loose forward. Because of his proactive attitude, Kane consistently inspired his teammates.
