In 2019, Ryan Papenhuyzen married Suncorp Super Netball league player Kelsey Browne. However, after three years of blissful marriage without having children, they divorced this year.
Kesley was always supportive of Ryan while she was with him, and vice versa. They both cheer and applaud at each other’s games. “There are different experiences in netball and rugby league, but we share a lot of experiences that work for both of us.”
In order to be with Ryan at his team’s accommodations, Kelsey, who competes for the Collingwood Magpies in Super Netball, moved to the Sunshine Coast. Even though their sports are entirely different from one another, Papenhuyzen said, they have been able to share thoughts and methods which could benefit one another,
When the Melbourne Vixens competed in the 2015 ANZ Championship, Browne made her debut as a professional netball player as a reserve. Before enjoying a breakthrough year in 2017, she spent two seasons playing for the club in Victoria.
Browne signed with the Collingwood Magpies in 2019 after leaving the Sunshine Coast Lightning. With 18 appearances for the Australian National Team, the player has also represented her country on a global scale. Due to a significant injury, the athlete missed the entire 2019 season.
Kesley is still a student at Deakin University, studying Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science despite her sporting career. She also enjoys singing and acting on stage.
