Grant, who will be hosting his final Q+A program on Monday before leaving, wrote a moving article describing how people had targeted him because he is Indigenous due to “relentless racial filth.”

But on Friday, he disclosed that he would no longer be hosting ABC’s premier Q+A panel discussion show or contributing to a weekly online blog.

Less than a year after being appointed the network’s permanent host of the current affairs chat show Q+A, Grant has announced his resignation.
After the show on Monday night, he has decided not to return. One of the first to reply that Grant was an “admired colleague” was 7.30’s host Sarah Ferguson.
“The insults hurled at him are repulsive. The horror we feel at this cannot be expressed in words. Stan is a talented and beloved person,” she said.
