Taylor Swift might be seeing stars in her dreams, all the way to Super Bowl LVIII. It’s a wild thought, isn’t it? She’s got a pocketful of dreams and a plane ticket that could take her halfway around the globe.

She’s got a gig in Tokyo the night before the big game. But despite the distance, she might just make it to Las Vegas by Feb. 11. Why? To cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

It’s all about geography, really. On Feb. 10, Taylor’s Tokyo concert wraps up around 10 p.m. local time. And Las Vegas? It’s 17 hours behind.

She’s got options. She could hop on a 12-hour flight that same night. Or, she could catch some Z’s in Japan, leave the morning of the 11th, and still make it back in time.

How’s that possible? Well, it’s all thanks to the international date line.

This line runs between the north and south poles. It’s the accepted entry point between one calendar day and the next. Lucky for Taylor, flying eastbound across this point decreases the calendar date.

On the flip side, flying westbound increases the date. So, according to Variety, as long as she leaves Japan before 6 p.m. local time on Super Bowl Sunday, she’ll touch down in Nevada before kickoff at 3:30 p.m.

So, there you have it. Taylor Swift, pop star, globe-trotter, and potential Super Bowl attendee. It’s a wild world, isn’t it?
