Now, why does that matter? Well, Taylor’s got a thing about fame. She’s written a few songs about her fear that her fame might be too much for her partner. You might’ve heard “Peace” or “The Archer.”
Taylor once said, “It all depends who you’re with.” If her partner can’t handle the fame, she feels like she’s on the run. She doesn’t want to feel like a fugitive, always hiding because she’s in a relationship. That’s not her style.

In a WSJ interview, Travis showed he’s ready for the pressure of dating someone as famous as Taylor. He admitted he’s never dated anyone with her kind of aura. But he’s not scared. He’s not running away.
He talked about the scrutiny Taylor faces. The constant paparazzi, the magnifying glass on her every move. She’s just trying to live her life, enjoy it even. And Travis? He’s not about to act all weird about it.
