Did Shayne pop the question to Natalie Lee in season two? Well, yes, he did. But Shaina wasn’t about to hide her feelings for him.
After Shayne and Natalie’s wedding didn’t happen in the final episode, they decided to give love another go. This time, away from the prying eyes of the camera.
However, Natalie dropped a bombshell during Love Is Blind After the Altar. She found “flirty texts” between Shayne and Shaina. The messages were about “what could have been” if they had ended up together.
This revelation was the nail in the coffin for their romance. Natalie explained, “That’s why we’re not together anymore.”
Shaina, on After the Altar, called it “slander.” She told Shayne, “We’ve always been appropriate. We’ve never hung out alone.” (Ironically, they were alone at that moment.)
Natalie spilled more beans during an Entertainment Tonight interview. She hinted that there was “a lot more” to Shayne and Shaina’s exchanges that didn’t make it to the final cut.
“I get it, you can only show so much in three 45-minute episodes,” she said. But she had evidence – text messages and emails from Shayne. He was talking about deleting Instagram messages, erasing DMs with Shaina.
“That’s something I talked about that didn’t make the cut. I think it would have helped with the story,” she added.
