Let’s dive into some exciting news. No need to get all shook up. Trisha Paytas, the YouTube star, has a baby on the way!
On November 21, Trisha announced that she’s expecting her second child with her husband, Moses Hacmon. She shared a sweet Instagram post featuring her, Moses, and their 14-month-old daughter, Malibu Barbie. They were all holding up a sonogram. Trisha captioned the post, “Thankful. Baby #2 coming May 2024.”
But that’s not all. They’ve already picked out a name for the baby. Trisha, who’s a big fan of the late King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, revealed on the November 21 episode of her Just Trish podcast that the baby will be named Elvis, regardless of the gender. A bit unusual, huh? But then, who are we to judge?
She even titled the podcast episode “Trisha is PREGNANT With Baby Elvis.” During the episode, she shared that she found out about the pregnancy on October 3, which is Mean Girls Day. A bit of a coincidence, but hey, it adds to the story.
The pregnancy came as a surprise to Trisha. She had taken a test during a doctor’s visit two weeks prior to finding out, and it was negative. She admitted, “I did not think I was going to get pregnant. It’s just really hard for us to get pregnant. We’d try, try, try every single day and then it doesn’t happen.”
The couple had been “trying for so long” to have another child. They decided to take another test five weeks after her doctor’s visit, and this time, it was positive.
Unlike her pregnancy with Malibu Barbie, Trisha and Moses—who got married in 2021—decided to wait before announcing the good news. The couple didn’t explain why they chose to stay quiet, but Trisha did say, “It’s been so weird to keep it a secret.”
As for the future, Trisha said fans can expect Elvis to be the final addition to their family. As she simply put it, “We’re done after this, by the way!”
Malibu Barbie is also getting ready to be a big sister. “She has a little baby she feeds,” Trisha gushed. “She came to one of our appointments with us and was looking at the baby!” Moses, smiling, said, “Malibu is going to be such a great older sister.”
