Singer Bhupinder Singh’s death cause is reported to be cardiac arrest, according to Indian Express.

He passed away at 7:45 pm on Monday, July 16, 2022, in Criticare hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, at 82 years old.

The hospital Director, Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, clarified the circumstance surrounding Singh’s death. The singer was admitted to the hospital ten days ago.

While the doctors were busy investigating Bhupinder’s colon ailment after he got admitted to the hospital after an infection in his bowels, he got infected with Covid-19, and his health started deteriorating.

As Bhupinder’s health worsened, doctors put him on a ventilator on Monday morning, but he suffered a cardiac arrest the same evening and was pronounced dead.

As the news of his death started appearing on the internet, people expressed their heartbreak and posted tributes through their social media accounts.

Bhupinder’s wife, Mitali Singh, announced the death of her husband and said the funeral would take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Uncertainty surrounds whether or not the singer’s funeral will be attended by the general public or just friends and family.
