The 19-year-old basketball player led his high school team to the Elite 8 of the National Prep Tournament and the 2020 NEPSAC AA championship.
Throughout his high school career, Matt scored 1,000 points. He played for New York Renaissance on the club circuit between 2019 and 21.
Besides basketball, Matt played tennis in 2022 and served as the goalkeeper for the Wilbraham and Monson water polo team in 2019 and 2020.
Filipowski climbed to the top of his class and won the 2019–20 school year’s Algebra 2 Honors Award. The young athlete landed on the highest Honor Roll from 2019 to 2021.
