Nicholas Dimitri Constantine Galitzine was born in London, England, on 29 September 1994 – his zodiac sign is Libra, holds British nationality and is of part-Russian and part-Greek descent. He’s an actor and musician, with more than 10 acting credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of Prince Robert, one of the lead characters in the 2021 family fantasy comedy movie “Cinderella”. Written and directed by Kay Cannon, it also starred Camila Cabello and Billy Porter, and follows the story quite similar to that of the eponymous book; the movie was nominated for two awards.
Early life and education
Nicholas was raised in London alongside his sister Lexi, by their father Geoffrey Galitzine who comes from a noble Russian family, and their Greek-American mother Lora (nee Papayanni).
Nicholas became interested in singing at a very early age, and was 10 when he joined his school’s choir. He was 15 years old when he joined his high school’s drama club, and began appearing in plays performed at the school; Nicholas was also highly sporting during those four years, playing both soccer and basketball.
Upon matriculating in 2012, he enrolled at Dulwich College, and launched his acting career two years later, with his portrayal of the lead character Tom in the family comedy movie “The Beat Beneath my Feet”.
Directed by John Williams, it also starred Luke Perry and Lisa Dillon, and follows a teenager who has discovered that his neighbor is actually a Rock God, and has made a deal with him: he won’t reveal his secret, as long as the neighbor teaches him to play the guitar.
Nicholas graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2016.
Roles in TV series
Nicholas has appeared in only two TV series. He played Angelo in the 2015 episode “The Legend of Terrence Graves” of the action crime drama “Legends”, created by Howard Gordon, and which starred Sean Bean, Morris Chestnut and Ali Larter. The series follows the deep-cover operative Martin Odum, who has managed to forget who he really is.
In 2019, Nicholas starred as Elliott Lefevre in the popular fantasy horror drama “Chambers”, created by Leah Rachel, and which also starred Sivan Alyra Rose and Marcus LaVoi; it tells the story of a woman who has had a heart transplant, and subsequently developed another personality.
Roles in movies
Nicholas portrayed Johnnie Blackwell in the 2016 romantic musical drama “High Strung”, and the same year saw him play Conor Masters in the hit sports comedy “Handsome Devil”. It was written and directed by John Butler, starred Fionn O’Shea, Amy Huberman and Ardal O’Hanlon, and follows Ned and Conor who are sharing a room at their boarding school, and have become close friends; the movie won five of the 13 awards for which it was nominated.
The year 2017 saw Nicholas appear in both the fantasy horror thriller “The Changeover”, and the horror “The Watcher in the Woods”. In 2019, he starred as A. J. in the drama “Share”, written and directed by Pippa Bianco, it also starred Rhianne Barreto and J. C. MacKenzie, and follows the 16 years old Mandy who has discovered a video featuring her, taken during a night which she doesn’t recall, and is now trying to learn about everything that had happened – the movie won four of the 10 awards for which it was nominated.
Most recently, in 2020 Nicholas played Timmy in the fantasy horror drama “The Craft: Legacy”, while he’s currently shooting for the upcoming romantic drama “Purple Hearts”.

Nicholas sang six songs in the 2014 movie “The Beat Beneath my Feet”, the song “Think for a Minute” in the 2016 movie “Handsome Devil”, and five songs in the 2021 film “Cinderella”.

Nicholas launched his self-titled YouTube channel on 16 August 2010, and it today numbers over 5,000 subscribers and close to 50,000 views of both his videos combined. His debut video “Landslide by Fleetwood Mac” was uploaded on 25 September 2019, and features him covering the song “Landslide” (guitar and singing), and his second video “Summertime Sadness by Lana del Ray”, uploaded on 25 September 2019, features him covering “Summertime Sadness”.
Love life and girlfriend
Nicholas is highly secretive when it comes to sharing the details of his love life with his fans, and hasn’t spoken of any girls or boys whom he has perhaps been with. This is probably why there are various rumors circulating the internet concerning his current relationship status, and his sexual orientation.
Some of his fans believe that he’s today in a relationship with the American actress Gideon Adlon, who’s perhaps known best for her starring role in the 2018 comedy movie “Blockers”. The two have uploaded many pictures featuring them together onto their Instagram accounts, but both have stated that they are just close friends.
There are also those who believe Nicholas to be gay, claiming that this is why he hasn’t spoken of girls whom he’s dated; a fan has even claimed to have seen Nicholas spending time with his boyfriend, but no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Nicholas commented on the matter.
As of February 2022, he seems to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
