William Hair was a 35-year-old man from Chicago whose name had been the talk of the town for the past few days following his death which came after a shooting.

Hair was a family man who was close to everyone. Following his death after a shooting, some of his family members have come forward and talked about him.

His brother Matthew Hair said, “Senseless. It’s the only word for it.” Likewise, his dad Bill Hair talked about the incident saying that he was with his best friend, who tried to save him by performing CPR.

William Hair Death: 35-Years-Old Man Killed in Lakeview Shooting

William Hair died at the age of 35 after getting shot. Chicago Police reported that Hair was found with a chest wound on a sidewalk in the 500 block of West Surf Street around 2:15 am.

After being found, Hair was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, but he was pronounced dead there. It has been said that William was killed just blocks away from where he lived.

Police believe an attempted robbery was perpetrated by the occupants of a vehicle that pulled up alongside him.

Furthermore, three people were shot just blocks from where Hair was killed. The latest shooting occurred overnight, near Broadway and Barry, and injured three people.

William Hair Obituary and Funeral Details

William Hair’s obituary has left everyone sad as the 35-year-old man was killed in a recent shooting. All of his family members are mourning his death, as Hair was close to them.

As of now, his funeral details have not been shared by the family as they are seeking privacy at this hard time. Meanwhile, the Hair family receives tributes and condolence messages from many places.

Likewise, many people have shown support to them after William’s death. Tons of people marched through the streets of Chicago, calling for peace and an end to gun violence in the city.

In the same way, Chicago Police officers made their existence known, working around the clock in different communities to confirm everyone was safe.

Is William Hair Shooting Suspect Arrested?

At the time of this post, the shooting suspect who killed William Hair has not been arrested. In the same way, no one is in custody.

It is thought that the investigation may be ongoing at the moment, and the Police department will surely give more updates regarding the recent shooting that killed William Hair.

Furthermore, there have been three shootings in four days, one deadly, and all within a half mile of each other.

While investigators don’t think they’re connected, they’ve certainly raised alarm bells within the Lakeview neighborhood. William was shot after walking a friend home from a nearby bar.
