The Rachel Zoe Project gave viewers insight into the life and drama surrounding celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe as she built her fashion empire.
The series aired from 2008 to 2013 on Bravo before getting canceled that year. The show, which lasted five seasons, starred Zoe and her husband and business partner, Rodger Berman. Zoe’s staff included associate and style director Brad Goreski, styling associate Taylor Jacobson and more.
Before going off the air, fan-favorite Goreski left the series and Zoe’s company in 2010, which didn’t sit right with the designer. “[Within a week of leaving, he] started [to] pursue our clients, started going to all these events, and doing all the things he said he had no interest in,” she alleged in a 2011 episode. “It’s not the first time I’ve been used. I would say it’s going to be the last time, though.”
Goreski exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2012 that he and Zoe “don’t speak to each other.” He claimed, “I would love to be able to speak with her. I think I have conducted myself with honesty, with dignity and with grace.”
In April 2024, Peacock brought The Rachel Zoe Project out of the Bravo vault for fans to start streaming, causing many to wonder what’s happened to the cast since its end.

Zoe has remained a powerhouse stylist and designer since her series was canceled in 2013. In 2015, she launched Box of Style, a subscription service that delivers goods cultivated by the designer to customers. In 2019, her daily newsletter, The Zoe Report, was acquired by Bustle Digital Group. Zoe is also part owner of Los Angeles’ Angel City FC.
The fashionista has been married to Berman since 1998. They share two sons, Skylar and Kaius, born in March 2011 and December 2013, respectively. Zoe’s first pregnancy was documented on the reality show, but it went off the air when she was still pregnant with her second child.
Goreski exited the series after season 3 in 2010 to pursue his own styling career. His departure caused a rift between him and Zoe, which has lasted more than a decade. Zoe revealed during a 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that she doesn’t see Goreski often, adding, “People should be professional. They should.”
Goreski, meanwhile, has become a success in his own right, working as the executive brand stylist for Kate Spade NY before becoming the cohost of E! News’ Fashion Police in 2014. The following year, he started working as part of E!’s Live from the Red Carpet team. He exited Fashion Police in 2017 and Live from the Red Carpet in 2019. In addition to remaining an A-list stylist, Goreski has been a judge on Canada’s Drag Race since 2021.
Goreski married TV producer Gary Janetti in 2017.
Jacobson was a styling assistant on seasons 1 and 2 of the Bravo series. During the season 3 premiere in August 2010, Zoe revealed she cut ties with Jacobson after her fight with Goreski. Zoe and Berman later alluded to Jacobson allegedly stealing clothes from their company.
Jacobson denied the “bizarre” allegations to Entertainment Weekly in 2010, saying she is “friends with PR people” and not a model size so she’d never steal from her clients.
Since her time on the show, Jacobson has remained in the fashion world, working as a stylist to the stars, including Kate Beckinsale and more. She and husband Jason Wolff welcomed their first child, son Duke, in December 2015. Jacobson co-owned the children’s brand Duke Alexander, which as of 2020 seems to have gone out of business.
Berman was Zoe’s right hand on The Rachel Zoe Project as the president of Rachel Zoe Inc., a title he still holds. In recent years, Berman has spearheaded several new career opportunities under his wife’s umbrella, including Rachel Zoe Ventures, Curateur subscription boxes and The Access Fund. He is also an advisor for FabFitFun, Hugh & Grace, THE LIST and several other fashion companies.
Berman shares sons Skylar and Kaius with Zoe, whom he wed in 1998.
Runyon joined the Bravo cast during season 2 in 2009. At the time, she went by her maiden name, Marisa Lee. Runyon was Zoe’s assistant for two years before becoming brand director at Luxe Rachel Zoe and eventually producer at Rachel Zoe Productions in 2011. She also served as the head of video for The Zoe Report from 2016 to 2018 before branching out on her own. Runyon has been the director of creative content and production at SHEIN since October 2022 following a stint at Entertainment Tonight Digital.
Marisa married Jonathan Runyon in 2008. The couple share two children, daughter Stella and son Benjamin.
Maalouf was introduced to viewers as Zoe’s longtime friend and hairstylist. He has continued to cultivate a group of A-list clients, working as a hair and makeup stylist for the likes of Goldie Hawn and Molly Sims. Maalouf also cofounded The GlamApp.
Dayani first appeared on season 4, showing off her life as the vice president of Rachel Zoe Inc. She left the company in 2015 and became the chief brand officer at Everything But The House. Dayani was later president of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell from May 2021 to December 2022. She is the creator and cofounder of the nonpartisan movement called I Am a Voter.
Dayani, who is a human rights activist, shares two children with husband Peter Traugott.
In season 4, which aired in 2011, Brent joined the cast as Zoe’s styling associate. That same year, he founded his design firm, Jeremiah Brent Design. Brent is currently an interior designer who has starred on 2015’s Home Made Simple, 2017’s Nate & Jeremiah by Design and 2020’s Say I Do. He was announced in 2024 as the newest member of Netflix’s Queer Eye cast as the resident interior design expert.
Brent married fellow designer Nate Berkus in May 2014. The couple welcomed daughter Poppy in March 2015 and son Oskar in March 2018.
