Nikolas’ time on Zoey 101 came with its ups and downs. Following her 2006 exit from the show, the actress appeared on Cold Case, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Lie to Me, The Walking Dead and Mad Men. Her last on-screen role was in 2013.
Nikolas was married to Mike Milosh from 2012 to 2016. After their split, she accused Milosh of grooming and sexual abuse — allegations which he has since denied. She later married Michael Gray in July 2021. The pair share daughter Nova, born in 2020, and a second child, born in 2023.
In August 2022, Nikolas led a protest outside Nickelodeon’s headquarters over the alleged abuse she suffered while working for the network as a kid. She expanded on her experience during the 2024 docuseries Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
“I wasn’t happy. I actually couldn’t show up to set anymore without crying,” she said of her time on Zoey 101. “A lot of my self-worth was deeply damaged from that set experience. Me as a person was altered for life.”
