The BAFTA nominations for the 2024 film awards have started coming in. Actors Naomi Ackie and Kingsley Ben-Adir began revealing the nominees from the British Academy’s London headquarters mid-day on Thursday, following the BAFTA longlists announced early in the year. Christopher Nolan’s biographical epic Oppenheimer, Greta Gerwig’s juggernaut Barbie and Martin Scorsese’s Western crime drama Killers of the Flower Moon led those with 15 mentions each.

They were followed by Yorgos Lanthimos’ black-comedy science fantasy Poor Things with 14 longlists mentions, Bradley Cooper’s biographical Leonard Bernstein film Maestro with 12, Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn with 11, and Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest and Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers with 10 each.

The final winners of 2024 will be unveiled and presented with their awards at the 77th BAFTA film awards ceremony, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 18 at London’s Royal Festival Hall, which will serve as the ceremony’s venue for the second year in a row after several years at Royal Albert Hall. Scottish actor David Tennant (Doctor WhoInside Man) will host the ceremony.

In the U.K., BBC One and BBC streamer iPlayer will show the ceremony. Meanwhile, streamer BritBox International will present it in the U.S., Canada, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and South Africa.
