A week after it was reported that Lewis Pullman is stepping in for Steven Yeun in Marvel movie Thunderbolts, the feature has swapped out another star due to scheduling.

Geraldine Viswanathan will take over for Ayo Edebiri, who recently earned an Emmy for her role in FX series The Bear and had to exit the superhero pic due to conflicts.

Thunderbolts was hit by delays due to the writers and actors strikes of 2023, with its release date pushed a year to July 25, 2025. The film has a cast that includes Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jake Schreier is directing the feature, which has not yet begun filming.

Viswanathan, who is repped by WME, was last seen in the Apple feature The Beanie Bubble and is due out in theaters with Ethan Coen’s Focus Features title Drive-Away Dolls. She will star alongside Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell in Amazon comedy You’re Cordially Invited.
