‘One Tree Hill’
Murray and his costar James Lafferty stripped down to their underwear during a season 1 episode of the WB drama, which aired in 2003. Their characters, Lucas and Nathan Scott, were forced to go shopping in their skivvies after being kidnapped at gunpoint by members of a rival basketball team.
In another season 1 episode, Lucas’ towel got taken while he was showering in the locker room, treating viewers to a scene where Murray walked down a school hallway covering himself only with two basketballs.
“It was a foamy basketball, so it wasn’t a real basketball, but we tried that and trust me, it did not hide … the real one,” Murray told HuffPost of the scene in May 2017. “And that was, what, episode 2 of One Tree Hill? I think? My goodness, like, ‘Hey guys, when am I not going to be naked on set?’”
