Steps to Program Remote to Samsung TV
There are two methods to programming a remote to your Samsung TV. One is done manually with the Samsung TV remote codes that are given above, and the other one is with the TV settings.
Using Remote Codes
1. Power on your Samsung TV.
2. Long press the PROG button on your adapter’s remote.
3. Now, release the button and press the TV button once.
4. In this stage, you have to enter the code.
5. The LED light turns off when you enter the correct code.
Using TV Settings
1. Hold the PROG button on the remote until the LED light flashes red.
2. Then, press the TV button one time.
3. Hold the Channel + and OK buttons until the TV turns off.
4. Now, the remote will look for possible codes to pair up with the TV.
5. When the TV turns off, press the Power button to turn on the TV.
These are the possible remote codes available for Samsung Smart TV. With these codes, you can program any of the universal remotes to your Smart TV. Universal remotes are not recommended for the latest models of Samsung TVs. It is best to buy a new remote from Samsung rather than trying universal remotes.
