A much loved wife of the late Dennis, a beloved mother of Catherine and Judith, a very dear mother-in-law of Mark and Ian, a loving grandma of Sarah and Tom, a cherished sister and sister-in-law of the late Peter and Patricia, a dearly loved friend and mother-figure to so many. (Wilkinson) On 12 May 2024 aged 88 peacefully at St Margaret’s Care home, Shirley, devoted and beloved wife of Melvyn, much loved mum of Mark, respected mother in law of Linda, dear Grandma of Paul and affectionate sister and auntie. Jill Maureen SHAW (née Saxton)

(née Saxton) Sister of John and Joy. Died peacefully on Saturday 27 April 2024, aged 87 in Fuengirola, Spain. Jill was formerly of Lindley, Edgerton and Outlane. She was an honorary member and past lady captain of Outlane Golf Club, a member of Huddersfield Bridge Club and an early active member of the Kirkwood Hospice group. She was also a keen painter. Jill leaves her brother John, son and daughter Jeremy and Alison, and grandchildren Daniel, Heather and Simone. Jill was cremated in Spain.
