LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese is one of the best trash talkers in college basketball, but when Middle Tennessee‘s Anastasiia Boldyreva fouled out, she taunted her without saying a word.
Social media took notice of Reese’s behavior as she played to the crowd in what could be her final game at home as a member of the LSU team.
The 6-foot-3 forward played a big role in drawing the five fouls on Boldyreva, who could be seen shedding a tear as she exited the court toward the end of the third quarter, after which the wheels completely came off the 11-seed Blue Raiders‘ upset bid.

“Zero class and poor sportsmanship,” said the top response under the video on Twitter/X, echoing a perception of Reese that has existed since last year’s NCAA championship game against Caitlin Clark and Iowa.
“The most unlikeable team, unlikeable coach, unlikeable player,” said another, adding LSU’s controversial coach Kim Mulkey into the crosshairs.
“To an 11 seed of Middle Tennessee lol – Reese stinks,” said one comment.

The Tigers outscored Middle Tennessee 51-20 in the second half to record a 83-56 victory and advance to the Sweet 16. LSU is now just one more win from a potential rematch of last year’s title clash with the Hawkeyes in the Elite 8. Reese finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.
