Conor McGregor is doing as much noise as he can in order to let Dana White know that he wants to get back into that octagon. There have been rumors Conor hasn’t made this comeback due to unresolved contract negotiations. If this is the case, it wouldn’t be the first time Dana White refuses to pay a fighter what he wants. McGregor himself already takes between 20% and 25% of the entire fighter pay money pot. But he’s repeatedly felt the same way, he deserves shares of the UFC as a company. We have seen him say that he wants to sit on the table as a co-owner and he has the power to do that today. But Dana White has never talked about this and he always deflects questions about Conor McGregor with a different narrative.

Despite not being announced yet, Conor McGregor keeps pushing the buttons in order to make that fight against Michael Chandler during International Fight Week. But White is still unwilling to confirm that by using different excuses. Just recently, McGregor spoke to ESPN about this June 29 return and insinuated Dana White gave him the green light. We still haven’t heard anything from Dana but Conor said this: “We got confirmation a few days ago that it’s all systems go. And ‘The Mac’, ‘The Notorious’ will be returning to the UFC Octagon this summer.”
Currently, Conor McGregor is finishing the promotion of his new movie ‘Road House’ starring Jake Gyllenhaal. If there is a moment for him to make any type of announcement that Dana White can confirm, this would probably be the perfect time. McGregor was just on Ariel Helwani’s ‘THe MMA Hour‘ to talk about everything going on with him in life. He dropped some bombs. But it was clear he no longerwants to contradict Dana White, now we only need confirmation from the UFC president. Ariel pressed him as he usually does and got a nugget from McGregor.
