Barcelona and PSV closing in on Sergino Dest loan deal

Sergino Dest looks to have found a new team: PSV.

The right-back failed to win Xavi over during the preseason, and as a result, his departure from Barcelona was simply a matter of time. Negotiations with Nice were at an advanced stage, but the team led by Peter Bosz has re-entered the bidding for the 23-year-old.

In fact, Dest has already traveled to Eindhoven and the agreement between the two clubs is very close to being finalized. If the deal goes through, the American will be on loan at the Dutch club and his salary will be split between PSV and Barcelona.

This means Dest will be on loan for the second consecutive season after spending last season at AC Milan, where he hardly played a role. His poor performance on the field didn’t win over the Rossoneri, who decided not to exercise their option to sign the player.
