The Apprentice is back for another series at long last – with a corporate away day style task that had shades of The Traitors about it.
There’s no doubt going to be plenty of backstabbing as another batch of candidates go head to head for Lord Sugar’s cash, overseen by sidekicks Karren Brady and Tim Campbell.
But Tim, an ever present for the past two series replacing Claude Littner, was a bit of a distraction in this first episode as viewers were confused by his new look.

The boys went up against the girls and Tim tracked what the boys delivered – or under promised and over delivered – in the Scottish highlands as they negotiated corporate team building tasks for a potential profit.
Mistakes like serving water as a welcome drink were talking points, but not more so than Tim’s outift.
Viewers thought Tim had come straight from the gym in his compression shirt as he watched on.
