The San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys are about to face each other on Sunday and Jerry Jones is in awe of Brock Purdy as a whole. But if he had to pick one of his skills, is the ability to always find a way to not get sacked. Purdy either gets rid of the ball quickly with no danger of interception, avoids most sacking attempts, or he completes his plays as intended. For Jerry Jones, that’s where the difference between a good and a bad quarterback lies. And Brock Purdy has that unique skill, which is quite uncommon in toay’s NFL. It didn’t take long for Brock to return from the injury he suffered last season in order to prove he truly is the real deal. Jones spoke to NBC Sports Bay Area ahead of this exciting Sunday game.

Here’s what the Dallas Cowboys owner said: “By the way, [Purdy] doesn’t make the bad plays. That I see vividly. And that’s so important. He does not make the bad plays, generally. And you can win so many football games if you don’t give it to them. Unfortunately, certainly the last game we played with the 49ers, we gave it away a little bit. And consequently, we didn’t get out of there with a win. You cannot do that if we play a top team like the 49ers. So he has the kind of game that will be hard to beat. We need to make the good plays and we don’t need to make the bad plays. We’ve got a quarterback that is tops, if we’re fortunate enough to get in there and hold our mistakes down, we’re going to be in real good shape.”

Can Brock Purdy lead the 49ers to the Playoffs?

Last season seemed like a truly incredible feat from Brock Purdy as a rookie. Taking the San Francisco 49ers all the way to the Conference Championship was already a surprise. Falling injured on that game against the Philadelphia Eagles seems like the main reason they lost the game. Now that he is back and ready to continue writing his story in the league, things are looking up for Purdy and his teammates. As they plow through rivals in the area, these 49ers have an exciting challenge ahead with this game against the Dallas Cowboys. Judging on what Jerry Jones is saying, he probably wishes Purdy was a Cowboy instead of a 49er. Who is taking the victory tomorrow in the afternoon?
