Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark finally addressed Ice Cube‘s $5 million offer to play in his Big3 league during the WNBA offseason and even though she did not rule out the potential move, her coach called the idea “crazy”.
Clark, 22, told the media during Friday’s press conference that she learned about the offer at the same time as everybody else. The Hawkeyes guard is currently focused on the NCAA Tournament and has already declared eligible for the upcoming WNBA draft.

“Yeah, to be honest, I found about the Big3 thing at the exact time you all did, and my main focus is just on playing basketball. I think that’s the biggest thing,” Caitlin said. “More than anything, my focus is on winning these two games, and that’s exactly how it should be.
I honestly don’t talk about those things with really anybody. I have other people that deal with it, and they haven’t said a word to me about it. My main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to beat Colorado and hopefully win another one after that.”
Lisa Bluder wants Caitlin Clark all to herself
Hawkeyes head coach Lisa Bluder called the idea of Clark joining the Big3 “crazy,” but she also wouldn’t want her star player to leave March Madness for a chance to play alongside elite WNBA players on the Olympic team.
“We haven’t even talked about it, to be quite honest. It doesn’t have anything to do with us right now. Let’s not even talk about it,” Bluder said. “She did tell me about the invitation that she was getting for USA Basketball, but she hopes that she’s not there.
“We all hope she’s not there next weekend. But she was invited, and she shared that with me.The other stuff, that’s just – it’s crazy.”
