The Cleveland Cavaliers are keeping a complete silence about Ricky Rubio‘s situation two weeks after The Athletic reported that the team is interested in negotiating the Spanish player’s departure.
Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff responded Monday in Toronto (Canada) with a brief “I have no information” to questions from Efe about Rubio‘s situation.

The El Masnou native, who joined the Cavaliers in 2021, suffered a serious injury in December of that year when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
After a lengthy recovery, Rubio signed a three-year, $18.4 million contract in 2022. But the 33-year-old point guard has yet to play a game this season as he is on leave to take care of his mental health.
Rubio has already unexpectedly resigned from playing with Spain in the Basketball World Cup, which started at the end of August 2023, precisely to improve his mental state.
