Chrissy Teigen John Legend Welcome ‘Hairless’ Addition to Their Family

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have welcomed an addition to their growing family. Chrissy introduced the unique family member in a cute Instagram video. Their youngest daughter, Esti, looked delighted as she held the newest addition, adding to the warmth and charm of the moment.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have expanded their family with a unique new member. Through an Instagram carousel, Chrissy provided fans with a glimpse into their recent life events, including the arrival of a cat without fur.

She partially captioned the post, “Little week recap! (…) Also got a cat oh my god.” In the video, Chrissy’s youngest daughter, 16-month-old Esti, appears in a pajama set as she stands near the hairless cat lounging on a sofa.

Chrissy Teigen can be heard softly asking her daughter twice, “Is that your friend?” Esti then picks up the cat and carries it away, prompting laughter from her mom behind the camera.

The response to the new addition was overwhelmingly positive, with fans expressing their excitement and curiosity. One enthusiastic fan asked, “OMG WHAT IS THE CAT’S NAME????? Sooooo cutttteeeeee!!!! 😍”

Another fan humorously noted, “That’s a cat?! 😂 was not expecting a naked one 😂😂” Others shared their admiration for Esti and the new pet. One comment read, “❤️❤️❤️❤️ Esti snatched that hairless cat 😂 Luna is a superstar!!”

Chrissy and John have long been pet parents and over time, they have opened up about parenting their pets. The model revealed that she is the popular pet parent of the two because she speaks to their dogs and cats in a higher-pitched voice with exaggerated intonation.

On the other hand, John Legend is the less popular pet parent because he talks to the cat and dogs in the regular speech he uses with the kids.

The couple has also opened up about how emotional it is to lose a pet, especially one they have been with since their birth to their demise. The two have lost dogs over the years.

Chrissy noted that experiencing this loss with John was special for them. “It was such a moving, beautiful, terrific, like insanely sad like situation, and you just…the cries are different than any cries you have ever heard before,” shared Chrissy.

Chrissy and John’s heartfelt social media reveal of their hairless cat signify their continued journey as pet parents even as they raise their four children. The couple’s deep bond with their pets is also evident from how they speak about parenting their pets and tackling their deaths.

The Hollywood couple have a beautiful home where they reside with their kids and pets. As we previously reported, in a 2023 interview, John and Chrissy invited Architectural Design into their Beverly Hills mansion and revealed that they are used to constantly moving homes.

The pair are always open to having a new house or even renovating the one they live in. However, they do not merely move on a whim.

“Every house we’ve ever had reflects the moment we were in our lives, like chapters in a book,” Chrissy explained, while her husband added, “Our last house was darker and more cloistered, like a sanctuary.”

But the duo’s current home is relatively different from their previous abode. It is light and airy, so they fell in love with it. It is spacious enough and is connected to the outdoors.

“We wanted to create something magical, especially for the kids,” said John, who shares four children with his wife. The couple has two daughters, Luna and Esti, and sons, Miles and Wren.

To bring their vision for their home to life, the Grammy Award-winning singer and his cooking guru wife, Chrissy, hired AD100 designer Jake Arnold to renovate their new estate.

This was not their first time collaborating with Arnold, as he previously worked on John’s recording studio and office space, including Chrissy’s food and cookware enterprise.

The pianist shared that he and his spouse chose to work with Arnold because they love his taste – which features earth tones such as neutral palettes. But in this case, they decided to brighten up their home by adding pops of color.

Although the couple decided to brighten up their abode, they still managed to keep it minimalistic and aesthetically pleasing with its modern architecture both in the interior and exterior.

They have contemporary furniture all over their open-plan home, with wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in natural light.

The house’s enormous living room, where the family of six spends most of their time watching reality shows, consists of an oversized brown U-shaped couch with matching cushions.

Some couches are a blend of outdoor fabrics, and John and Chrissy opted for that choice because they are much more sustainable.

Just behind the couch is an equally large pendant light hanging above it and mounted to the floor. The space also features a big TV cabinet that can hide the TV, which can swivel.

There is a solo sofa and an armchair, including a coffee table in the middle and a smaller one beside one chair. The furniture is positioned on top of a gray biomorphic mohair rug.

Chrissy and John also have a large kitchen with floating shelves, a kitchen island with small bar stools, and a plaster hood. The often-used space has marble backsplash and wooden cabinets, as well as marble countertops.

The kitchen features rounded forms and is finished with high-end appliances, including four stoves and an espresso machine. Next to the island is a built-in breakfast area with a round marble table and a chandelier.

In their dining area, Chrissy and John have a big olive tree, which they embalmed, positioned right in the middle of the room. It has silk leaves that do not fall as they are attached. Below the tree is a custom-designed gold ring that circles it.

Beside the tree is a large contemporary dinner table with green chairs. A chandelier hangs over the eating area; within the space, there are two pillars with wall art.

With John also being well-known for playing the piano, it is no surprise that he has a piano bar in his house. The room, which has a custom-made chandelier, features a black piano and a record player inside a gold cabinet, which also hosts a roll-up flat-screen TV. On the other side of the space, the couple’s trophies for their career milestones are displayed on shelves.

They have a cinema in their abode, which Chrissy described as “lush and feminine.” The space has a custom lounge seating upholstered in Skandilock sheepskin fabric. In addition, there is a nacho machine and a built-in wall cabinet that displays candy.

Another functional space in the mansion is the spacious family room, which Chrissy revealed can host 40 people. The room, which features a flower wallpaper, has a large L-shaped couch with durable fabric, mushroom-like ottomans, two occasional chairs, and a white console with a mounted TV.

Regarding the kids’ bedrooms, the couple’s eldest daughter, Luna, has a lavender-themed bedroom with a tented ceiling and a ball pit with pearlescent orbs.

As for their eldest son, Miles, he has a boy cave bedroom with a climbing wall, a custom Jeep-like bunk bed, and curtains of camouflage netting.

John and Chrissy have a powder room with marble stone throughout the entire space. It has a gold-trimmed mirror with vintage sconces on each side.

As for the main bedroom, it features natural tones of brown and gray. The pair also have a piece of old furniture, a coffee table, which they had at their first home. Their en-suite bathroom features marble walls, marble countertops, and wooden cabinets.

The bathroom has his and hers sinks on each side of the room and big mirrors on each side. Their standalone bathtub is centered in the space, near the window.

The shower also has marble features, and the room has another TV. John and Chrissy have a joint walk-in closet, which is spacious enough for them both.

The outdoor space in the duo’s family home has a backyard with a pool, a water slide, a play structure, a lawn, a garden, a barbecue grill, and a large outdoor dining table for entertaining. Chrissy and John have created a home that perfectly suits their vibrant family life.
